One Palace Green provided an extraordinary setting for an evening marking the culmination of many years of vision, care and collaboration.
Over 150 guests gathered within the Grade II* listed house on Kensington Palace Gardens to experience its restored historic interiors and six exceptional new residences. The evening brought together many of the architects, designers, craftspeople, consultants and partners whose expertise helped return the building to residential life.
Designed by Arts & Crafts pioneer Philip Webb, with interiors originally shaped by William Morris and Edward Burne-Jones, One Palace Green carries more than 150 years of history. Its restoration has required a careful balance: protecting the character and craftsmanship that make the house unique while introducing the privacy, security and comfort expected of an exceptional modern home.
It was a privilege to celebrate the collective skill, commitment and attention to detail behind the project, and to welcome so many of those involved back into the house they helped bring to life.
